沿用旗艦 XRT2K 揚聲器的設計技術及概念，並同樣以獨家研製之對稱平衡線性音源設計的 XR200 是 McIntosh 揚聲器系列中的新成員。XR200 身高達 131.5cm，箱體以豪華的高亮度黑色外飾處理，採用三路座地方式設計，前方擁有 19 組中/高音列陣單元，當中包括 12 個 2” 直徑之大功率、長衝程鈦金屬中音單元，以及 7 個 20mm 磁液冷卻鈦金屬高音單元。低音方面採用了三個專利註冊的 8” LD/HP長衝程單元並以重量達 12lbs 之磁體驅動，能產生極速低頻回應及決定性的強悍音壓。調諧孔設於箱體頂部位置，內部以風琴導管方式設計，提供更高效率、低失真、能量感澎湃的低頻響應。
